Main Page - College Prep for EveryoneThis site was created as part of my Senior Project, with which I hoped to help any student who wanted to further his/her education by attending a university or college in the future. Although the project is done, I have chosen to continue working on it. I would like to thank Elkins High School for linking me to their homepage, and I hope this will bring the site to the attention of more people.

I realize trying to figure out the college proccess is often a difficult and frustrating task, especially for first-generation students, I have set up this site in hopes that when there is no one left to ask, students can look here for a little help and inspiration. If you have any problems, please feel free to contact me through the site or start a new thread for comment.

This project was inspired by Upward Bound, a federally funded TRiO program. Upward Bound helps students across the United States by providing them with the skills and assistance needed to succeed in furthering their educations. I want to
use the knowledge I have personally gained to help others. This has, over time, become a very important personal mission. I would like every student, despite economic situation, to fulfill their educational goals.

More About the Site

This website, in its completion, is meant to help students by providing information such as, but not limited to:
  • Scholarship information and links
  • Hints and tips for ACT and SAT
  • Basic application checklist
  • User discussion and Q&A

There are several elements to this site, based on information I have collected through quizzes, surveys, and conversations with
college-bound juniors and seniors. (Please note-If there is something you are having trouble with, please feel free to leave a message.
If you wish to do so, please click on the 'thread' at the bottom of this page. I will get back to you ASAP.) Probably the most popular
page right now is the scholarship page, but I hope you find help on all.

If you would like to contribute to this page or become a writer, please feel free to contact me or become a member. If you don't want to become a member but would still like to contribute an idea for improvement, leave a comment and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
